It seems like just about every week the fine folks at Shriek Show unleash another terrifying triple feature. This latest release is one that I’ve been eagerly awaiting, because I never got around to buying TENEMENT when it first came out. The incredible GRINDHOUSE PSYCHOS Triple Feature includes the following flicks:

In front of them, cops. Behind them, dead cops. They are?the COP KILLERS! This 1973 hippy exploitation flick is about a pair of wayward long-haired ne?er-do-wells (Bill Osco and Jason Williams) who will do just about anything to score some easy money. This includes smuggling large quantities of cocaine across the border. But nothing seems to go according to plan, so they steal a getaway ice cream truck, take hostages, and terrorize innocent bystanders. Extras include ?Confessions of a Cop Killer? – an interview with star Jason Williams, commentary track, stills gallery, and trailer.

Infamous director Roberta Finlay’s 1985 classic revenge flick TENEMENT (aka Game Of Survival) is the gut crunching tale of a brutal and bloodthirsty South Bronx gang that methodically rape and kill the residents of an isolated slum. The tables turn when the surviving residents finally band together and viciously eliminate the gang members. Shriek Show presents the notorious TENEMENT completely uncut and uncensored, and this dvd includes goodies like a director’s commentary track, stills gallery, trailers, tv spots and more. Essential exploitation!

DON’T GO IN THE HOUSE is a 1980 slasher flick about a victim of brutal child abuse (Dan Grimaldi from The Sopranos) who grows up to become a maniacal serial killer. He picks up women at discos, takes them home, and then chains them up in a specially constructed steel-walled room before burning them alive with a flamethrower! Director Joseph Ellison presents this lurid little puker in the proud tradition of all other genre flicks with DON’T in the title. Bonus features include a commentary track and interview with star Dan Grimaldi and an extended cut of the burning sequence.

For less than $20, this is a great purchase. Support Shriek Show and pick up a copy! Your dvd collection needs more sleaze anyways.
