I Am Legend Alternate Ending

A lot of people hated the theatrical ending of Will Smith’s I Am Legend, so on March 18 fans can see an alternate ending on the DVD, but don’t get too excited because it may not be any better.

Creature Corner’s Brian King says: “I Am Legend purists beware, however; this new ending isn’t even remotely close to the book, so if you hated this new theatrical incarnation, don’t expect any redemption with this new climax.”

Want a second opinion? Empress Eve from Geeks of Doom also says the alternate ending is not any better than the original but it is a “more typical Hollywood ending, all wrapped up nicely and definitely leaving room for a sequel.”
