Undead Unicorn – Makeup Tutorial

Posted by Ingram Draco on September 22, 2020

Unicorns are believed to be beautiful and pure magical creatures, which is why it is interesting to wonder what would occur if one of them happened to be tainted by the dark touch of a zombie, transforming that once majestic creature into one that hungers for brains, and has all the means to get them, as it can outrun any human with its four legs, and even has a horn on its head to charge forward viciously and make its job easier.

This Halloween concept is explored by Samaro in this makeup tutorial where she shows her Zombie Unocorn look. This is very interesting to see because the style mixes the rainbowy pastel colors you expect a unicorn to showcase wherever it goes, but it also adds the zombified look with sections where you can see rotten flesh drawn in, sharp teeth and even an eye that doesn’t show the same glow as the other, as if it too had been affected by darkness when this unicorn was brought back from the dead.

A Magical Union With The Forest – Makeup Tutorial

Posted by Ingram Draco on September 12, 2020

The Forest Witch makeup look that Maritza Alis creates borrows some elements of a skull style, in that you can see her teeth without skin, as well as her ribcage enhancing this look, showing dark spots in between the bones to give a three-dimensional finish to the body paint element.

The eyes, however, and the rest of the makeup on her face, have more vibrant tones that those of a skull, and this is where the Forest Witch part comes in, because her eyes are adorned by green and purple shades that match the tones on the flowers she’s painted all over her face and body, some of them even appearing tangled around the bones on her ribcage to show the notion that this character is one that’s so in tune with nature, and that she’s been a part of the forest for so long, that she’s allowed plants and flowers to grow freely, which further demonstrates her communion with nature through an enchanting visual representation.

Welcome to my entry to the 2019 NYX Cosmetics FACE Awards!! I had so much fun creating and filming this look, I hope you enjoy the look and video as much as I do! Good luck to all who entered the contest!

A Snake And Its Charms – Spooky Makeup Tutorial

Posted by Ingram Draco on September 12, 2020

What is interesting about this versatile Snake Queen style is that you can actually look rather stately and snakelike with all the details that shivonmakeupbiz adds to the makeup, like the scales on the sides of the face that are gently drawn and have a soft finish to them that helps retain an elegant aura and makes this Snake Queen look like she’s just transformed into a human and has decided that she enjoys her newfound style better.

You can also dispense with the scaly bits if you prefer, and simply go for the basic look that showcases the dark lips and the combination of the green black and yellow on the eyes to still wear a deeply glamorous and interesting look that would go perfectly to show some style, not only during a Halloween party, but during any other event where you want to express your sophisticated side in a more original way.

Freshly Turned Vampire – Spooky Makeup Tutorial

Posted by Ingram Draco on September 5, 2020

You can follow along in this spooky makeup tutorial to learn how to transform into Lucy Westenra as she looks after she is bitten a second time by Dracula, effectively transforming her into a vampire for good so she can prey on those who once loved her, and feast on the blood of every creature she can find while her former friends now search for a way to vanquish her, and the evil that brought her back into the world.

A pale-white skin and a mouth that is left with a natural color adorn this look, with almost no makeup added to the lips but the blood Leigh Dickson Artistry smears on the fangs and tongue to make it look like the vampire has just fed, leaving the face with sunken effects on the cheeks to give it the impression that she’s a corpse that came back to life as a creature of the night thanks to an ancient power.

Francis Ford Coppola’s Lucy Westenra from Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the horror movie classic!

Thank you so much for watching!

A Dreadful Ocean-Dweller – Spooky Makeup Tutorial

Posted by Ingram Draco on February 19, 2020

Here’s a spooky take on a Siren that doesn’t focus on the traditional half-human half-fish creature you’re used to seeing, but on a more realistic, creepier version that creates, with a mix of makeup and body paint, a monster that has human-like traits, but at the same time presents an anatomy suited for life under the sea.

This creature probably thrives on the darkness of an underwater cavern, where she waits for unsuspecting victims to explore the depths of the ocean, and maybe she even visits the surface herself from time to time to show everyone who lives there why the sea and its creatures should be feared and revered.

This is a very well done makeup tutorial by HalloweenMakeup, and in it she shows you all the techniques needed to make this scary Halloween look shine, right down to how to create your very own fins, since she adds them on both her ears and hands to enhance the fish look, and she does a fantastic job with that part too, because the props are super easy to make, and end up looking incredibly realistic.

Creepy siren makeup along with webbed fingers and fin ears. Be ready to lurk the deep seas with this mermaid look.

An Amalgamation Of Horror – Halloween Makeup Tutorial

Posted by Ingram Draco on December 18, 2019

The version of Frankenstein’s monster that Kendra N shows in this makeup tutorial works with a base of green colors mixed with darker shadows to bring an undead feel to the style. Let’s not forget that the only reason the monster looks like that is because the green aims to mimic rotten flesh, as Frankenstein’s monster was brought back to life by combining several dead body parts to create the perfect human.

The idea that this monster was put together in a rush by a mad doctor is present through this Halloween look with the addition of details done with liquid latex that give a realistic feel and texture to the sections that are supposed to be bits of flesh sown together and kept there in the hopes that they can become part of a whole. At the same time, there’s the black color on the winged eyeliner and on the lips that continues to accentuate the decayed appearance of the face while giving a nice touch of glamour to the look.

I will not be talking in today’s video at all I thought I’d change it up a little. This look to me soo long and I wasn’t to impressed with the look but here it is!

The Frost Of Darkness – Makeup Tutorial

Posted by Ingram Draco on November 21, 2019

Something really fun about winter is the snow and all the things you can do with it, like snowmen, for instance.

We’ve all heard the tale of the snowman who was built one day and it magically came to life without no explanation, which is an alright tale and all, if you are creating a jolly and traditional snowman, but it opens up another interesting avenue of thought: what if you were to create a twisted depiction of a snowman? You know, one who’s main purpose was to scare those who happen to run into it. What if such a creation were to be imbued by a dark life that comes from an unknown place, feeding on the darkness that help put it together?

Maritza Alis explores this idea with her Twisted Frost tutorial, where you get to see how she creates a creepy smiling snowman from hell, which is a fantastic choice for scaring the neighbors, as it allows you to prepare for the coming winter with something truly unsettling.

A Hint Of Enchanted Darkness – Makeup Tutorial

Posted by Ingram Draco on November 16, 2019

If you’ve watched the tv show “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”, then you know who the Weird Sisters are, and if you haven’t let me give you a quick rundown of what they are all about: They are a group of witches who have fully embraced their powers, accepting even relinquishing their souls to the Lord of Darkness in exchange for power, and who are not only incredibly talented in witchcraft, but who also possess great ambition and a ruthless nature that makes them stop at nothing to get rid of those they deem as enemies, obstacles, or even lesser beings than them.

This is what makes this Jackie Wyers tutorial so amazing, because she did manage to recreate the striking nature of Dorcas, the Weird Sister in which this look is inspired, while at the same time maintaining the glamour, confidence and stylishness that the character presents, so that, when you wear it, be it for a party or as an everyday option, you too can be more than ready to face every challenge coming your way.

Hey it’s Jackie, & thumbs up if you enjoyed this Chilling Adventures of Sabrina WEIRD SISTERS Makeup & Hair Tutorial! Gotta love Evil Queen Prudence, Agatha & Dorcas. I loved all the witches styling, but chose to emulate Abigail Cowen as Dorcas as you guys seem to love when I recreate red headed Characters lol! Comment below your fav character from CAOS and thumbs up if you want to see a Sabrina Spellman Get The Look as well… love Harvey & Sabrina & the sabrina riverdale mentions lol.

Haunted Season 2 Episode 5 Recap

Posted by Ingram Draco on November 15, 2019

The fifth episode of Netflix’s Haunted starts with Rick, a US Marine who tells us about a strange event he experienced during war in Afghanistan, which he says was already hell.

Rick’s great grandfather, his grandfather and his father had all been soldiers who fought in different wars, and all he wanted to do was follow in their footsteps, especially his dad’s, who was not only his hero, but a decorated war hero with a medal for Valor, which is why Rick decided to become a Marine, with the objective of doing something that could make his father proud of him.

At the time Rick joined the Marines, there was the certainty that if you joined an infantry unit, you were going to war, and Rick and his team were going to be deployed in a combat zone in Afghanistan, which meant their assignment was going to be very dangerous.

On an occasion where they are out on patrol, Rick’s team is attacked by an armed group. Rick fights bravely, but an explosion gets him, and he loses consciousness. When he comes to, he hears his team is still engaging the enemy and gets ready to continue the fight. The survives a couple of close calls and tries to save the life of one of his friends when he is wounded badly. Rick explains that they were constantly facing battles like that one, which already added to the stress of the first encounter where they lost five men.

After those first encounters, Rick was sent to a different area to guard an area of operations. Their assignment was to keep a lookout so no enemies approached, and the place they had to guard just happened to be a cemetery.

It is here that one night, during his midnight shift, Rick is checking his surroundings like he is supposed to, and he hears a noise. Thinking he is being taunted by someone, he takes his weapon and looks through his night-vision-enabled scope, and when he is surveying the land before him, he sees something flying past his field of view.

He requests assistance over the radio, hoping his team can survey his position from a distance, and his commanding officer instructs him to go out and light a flare. Rick obeys, and steps out into the night, flare in hand and gun at the ready. After a thorough check, he finds nothing unusual, so he heads back to his post.

As he’s walking back, a monster jumps at him out of nowhere, and starts to choke him. Rick is powerless to defend himself against this creature as he is paralyzed with fear, so much that he couldn’t even blink, but in the end, he managed to break free and escape the monster before rejoining his commanding officer.

Rick was on edge for the rest of his deployment, and when he finally returned home, he felt like the bond between him and his father had strengthened, since now he was walking a similar path as he was. After his father passed away, Rick decided to re-enlist.

When he was preparing for his next deployment, one night he was in bed, and he was awoken by the same demon he saw in Afghanistan, and it growled at him, again paralyzing him, which, to him, was the demon’s way of telling him to stay away from that land, that he was not welcome, that he enjoyed seeing him so afraid, and he was letting him know that, if they found each other again on the battlefield, the demon would make a stronger statement to drive him away.
