The Halloween style that Samaro goes for on this makeup tutorial sort of makes me feel like I just gazed into the future, because she presents a cyborg look with golden details on the gears and the machinery that can be seen though the parts that are supposed to be skin, giving them a nice steampunk style, and enhancing them by showing them against a black background that helps the robotic side stand out more while at the same time adding the illusion that what you see is but a section of the mechanisms and that there are hundreds of other metal parts moving in the background, unseen, that make this cyborg work.
The effects on the skin are done very well as well, as she simply applies some white to all the parts that don’t have any robotic components to them, and what these lines do is give the skin an effect that makes it appear as if it was also made from a metal alloy that’s reflecting the light, enhancing the cyborg style without overpowering it with details so the futuristic aspects can properly shine in this magnificent look.

I’ve always been fascinated with the Terminator movies, so naturally, when I saw that World of BeautyCraft was making a makeup tutorial to show you how to transform yourself into a cyborg from the future, I couldn’t resist it, because the effect she creates is very well done, and it requires no props whatsoever to make it look awesome.
The idea focuses on those scenes where the Terminator, or in this case, Terminatrix, has already done battle while she struggles to complete her mission. This has caused the living tissue that her metal skeleton was covered with in order to allow her to travel through time to already show some damage, so you can see most of the untouched human face, but the metal underneath has begun to unravel where she has sustained wounds, giving her a more badass look as she continues fighting, becoming more resilient, and getting closer to accomplishing her mission.

Thinking about attending the Triple Threat Film Fest in Chicago this March, which is showing Albert Pyun's Road to Hell along with director's cuts of his earlier films Nemesis and Cyborg? Then check out this promo he cut together for the event!
It's lengthy but covers all three films and reminds us why the older ones are still cult favorites to this day. Along with the video, Pyun sent over a new "Triple Threat" banner ad by graphic artist Jerry Scullion, who also did the Cyborg case art.
On Saturday, March 9th, the Patio Theatre (6008 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60634; (773) 685-4291) will screen three of director Albert Pyun's films from 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight as part of the Triple Threat Film Fest. These movies are Nemesis, Cyborg, and the Chicago premiere of Road to Hell. Road to Hell was directed by Pyun, written by Cynthia Curnan, and is the unofficial sequel to the 1984 rock & roll fable Streets of Fire. It stars Michael Pare, Clare Kramer, Courtney Peldon, and Roxy Gunn with a special appearance by Deborah Van Valkenburgh.
Director Pyun and producer-screenwriter Curnan will be in attendance. Albert will be making presentations and greeting fans individually. You can bring items for him to sign at no charge or purchase DVDs, soundtracks, and posters available at his table.

We told you earlier this week about Albert Pyun's Road to Hell having its Midwest premiere on March 9th at the Patio Theatre in Chicago, and the event promoter has commissioned two new posters for the film from artist Neil Klemz. Check 'em out right here!
