New Images Tease that Loyalties Will Be Tested in Salem Episode 3.07 – The Man Who Was Thursday

If your tastes run toward the dark side, you won’t find much on TV that’s darker than “Salem” on WGN America.  Just four episodes remain in the show’s final season, and we have a few new photos to share to get you ready for this Wednesday night’s Episode 3.07, “The Man Who Was Thursday,” in which loyalties will be tested like never before!

“Salem” stars Janet Montgomery, Shane West, Seth Gabel, Ashley Madekwe, Tamzin Merchant, Elise Eberle, Iddo Goldberg, Joe Doyle, and Oliver Bell, with Marilyn Manson guest-starring in Season 3. This week’s ep was written by Kelly Sounders and Brian Peterson and directed by Jen Lynch (Surveillance).

“Salem” Episode 3.07 – “The Man Who Was Thursday” (airs 1/4/17)
Anne (Merchant) tells Cotton (Gabel) the great news of her pregnancy but is forced to partake in an unthinkable action that will wipe Gloriana (Azure Parsons) of her memories. While Alden (West) prepares to kill the Sentinel (Samuel Roukin), Mary (Montgomery) continues to trick Sebastian (Doyle) into thinking she loves him. Completely “under her spell,” Sebastian tells her that he will find a way to destroy the Boy (Bell) once and for all where an epic plan of twists and turns unravels and true loyalties surface.

Exclusive Clip from Salem Episode 3.05 – The Witch Is Back: Who’s Pulling the Strings?

If you’re not watching “Salem” on WGN America, you are missing out on one of the best horror TV shows currently airing and need to right that wrong immediately!  For those of you who are all caught up and ready to catch tomorrow night’s Episode 3.05, “The Witch Is Back,” we’re pleased to share an exclusive clip from the ep.

“Salem” Episode 3.05 – “The Witch Is Back” (airs 12/7/16)
Cotton (Seth Gabel) returns just in time to save Anne (Tamzin Merchant) from the Boy’s (Oliver Bell) punishment. Tituba (Ashley Madekwe) appears to Mary (Janet Montgomery) to make sure she’s okay, and Mary alerts Tituba about a possible traitor in the hive. Mary slowly starts to turn the Sentinel (Samuel Roukin) on the Boy by playing with the Sentinel’s emotions.

Meanwhile, Alden (Shane West) and Billy (Emily Skeggs) attempt to make their way back to Salem, but Billy is badly injured. Tituba accuses one of the Essex witches of being a traitor, but who could it be? Written by Adam Simon and directed by Nick Copus.

If you’re caught up on “Salem” Season 3 so far, you know that Isaac is sniffing around something he shouldn’t be, and in this exclusive sneak peek of tomorrow night’s Episode 3.03, “The Reckoning,” he receives a bit of a warning from Cotton, who certainly knows a thing or two about what’s really going on in town.

The Sentinel (Samuel Roukin) wants to kill Mary (Janet Montgomery) for her actions, but the boy (Oliver Bell) has a greater punishment in mind: a reckoning. Cotton (Seth Gabel) gathers the necessary supplies to eradicate Brown Jenkins from his body. Meanwhile, Isaac (Iddo Goldberg) continues to seek justice for the dead man he found. Later, Mary’s reckoning begins…

Tituba (Ashley Madekwe) explains to Mary (Janet Montgomery) that she’s stuck in Salem by the Essex tree, and her mission is to kill her son, the devil (Oliver Bell). Mary goes to Alden (Shane West) and explains that they need to fight the war from different directions. The Sentinel (Samuel Roukin) puts Mary’s loyalty to a test.

Meanwhile, Sebastian (Joe Doyle) and Anne (Tamzin Merchant) force Cotton (Seth Gabel) to make a speech at the church to ease the growing panic among the people, and Mercy (Elise Eberle) puts a spell on Hathorne (Jeremy Crutchley). Marilyn Manson makes his “Salem” debut as the bloody barber Thomas Dinley. Written by co-creator Adam Simon (The Haunting in Connecticut) and directed by Tim Andrew (“Teen Wolf”).

Salem Season 3 Returns Next Week; Two Promo Videos Promise New Scares!

We’re just a week away from the return of “Salem” to WGN America, and to help get you ready for the new scares to come in Season 3, we have a pair of promo videos to share.

The fun kicks off on Wednesday, November 2, with live tweeting promised from the cast and crew; but if you live in or near Los Angeles, you can see the premiere episode a day earlier at a special screening on Tuesday, November 1, at The Paley Center in LA. Fans in Georgia can see it even earlier during the Savannah Film Festival on Friday, October 28, with Shane West, Elise Eberle, Joe Doyle, and Brannon Braga in attendance.

Everything in “Salem” has gone to hell when WGN America’s hit supernatural thriller returns Halloween Week on Wednesday, November 2, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In advance of the premiere, the network has released a riveting new trailer featuring a gruesome twist on “Cat’s Cradle.”

The devil has arrived in “Salem,” and everything he promised the witches is a lie! He has his own plans that will bring nothing but death and destruction, and there’s only one person on earth that can stop him. The only problem is—she’s dead. Or is she? In the most twisted season yet, legendary recording artist Marilyn Manson guest stars as the bloody barber surgeon Thomas Dinley.

In the premiere episode, written by series creators Brannon Braga and Adam Simon and directed by Nick Copus, John Alden (Shane West) is forced to bury his love, Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery); and her mysterious servant Tituba (Ashley Madekwe), now with the abilities of the seer, has a horrifying vision of hell on earth. She knows the only person who can stop this evil and beat the devil (Oliver Bell) is the very witch that birthed him, his mother, Mary Sibley.

Meanwhile, Isaac (Iddo Goldberg) takes it upon himself to attempt to clean up Knocker’s Hole and get revenge against Mercy (Elise Eberle), who has found her calling running the brothel. Still struggling with her new powers, Anne Hale (Tamzin Merchant) continues to imprison her husband, Cotton Mather (Seth Gabel), using her familiar, Brown Jenkins. With the help of Baron Sebastian Marburg (Joe Doyle) and his old ally and fallen angel, The Sentinel (Samuel Roukin), the devil is planning a massive attack and war with God that will culminate in the ultimate showdown between good and evil!

Salem Season 3 Premiere Screening Joins PaleyLive LA

The Paley Center for Media has announced that PaleyLive LA – Fall 2016 has added the “Salem: Season Three Premiere Screening & Conversation” to be held on Tuesday, November 1st – one day ahead of the show’s third season premiere on November 2nd.

The event is open to the public and features the series’ cast and creatives for an intimate panel discussion and audience Q&A following the premiere screening.

“Salem,” the supernatural thriller inspired by the real-life events during the Salem witch trials, has inspired an intense fan following over the course of its two seasons. The series’ highly-anticipated third season dawns with the triumph of the witches’ plan to remake the New World by bringing the devil to earth and making Salem his capital. The plan, however, encounters a serious hitch when the witches discover the devil is bent on destroying all humanity. And there’s only one person on earth who can beat the devil — the very witch that birthed him, his mother, Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery).

As the Countess Marburg (Lucy Lawless) prepares for the imminent arrival of the “Starry Messenger” and her lover, the Dark Lord, Mary (Janet Montgomery) stages a last ditch effort to thwart the eternal witch’s plans, but her success or failure may rest in the hands of others who each have something important at stake.

After getting devastating news, Anne Hale (Tamzin Merchant) finds she is faced with making a time-sensitive decision that could have far reaching consequences, and it takes knowing words from another interested party to strengthen her resolve. Even so, the young witch finds herself at a crossroads and faced with yet another important choice to make – a choice that may determine the fate of all in Salem.
